Waiver Policy:

A liability waiver is required to be signed upon Group’s check in. This waiver will cover the number of participants on the invoice as well as any additional members of the group who may add on at the door. This waiver may not be used as a permission slip and may be signed in advance as long as Group Sales receives a copy via email or fax prior to Group’s visit date.

 

Chaperone Policy:

•  Ages 8 and over: (1) chaperone per 10 children

•  Under the age of 8: (2) chaperones per 10 children

 

Payments:

The Group Sales Department accepts all major credit cards and company issued checks. Purchase Orders are not considered a form of payment. Actual payments must be received at least one (1) week prior to your group’s scheduled visit date, however New York City Board of Education Purchase Orders will be accepted as long as an approved copy is received by Group Sales prior group’s scheduled visit date. NO REFUNDS will be granted once payment is received.  Lakeside is open rain or shine and NO REFUNDS are issued due to inclement weather.  Reservations may be rescheduled if notified 24 hours before scheduled visit date.

 

Drop Off/Parking Information:

The LeFrak Center at Lakeside is located at the southeastern side of Prospect Park near the Parkside/Ocean Avenue entrance and the Lincoln Road/Ocean Ave entrance. School Buses and other vehicles are NOT permitted to enter Prospect Park. All groups must be dropped off at the park entrance located at Ocean Avenue at the intersection of Lincoln Road. Street parking is available around the Park’s perimeter and at several garages in the neighborhood.
